NOVELTY - Polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) nano coating material comprises 100 pts. wt. low-melting-point paraffin, 60-150 pts. wt. conductive filler, 3-8 pts. wt. dispersing modifier, 0.1-0.8 pts. wt. low-temperature initiator, 1-3 pts. wt. emulsifier and 200-300 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - Polymeric positive temperature coefficient nano coating material for normal temperature thermal control and circuit protection and electric heater. ADVANTAGE - The PPTC nano-coating material has good coating property and stability, and high PTC effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing PPTC nano coating material, which involves: (1) adding the dispersion modifier, low-temperature initiator and conductive filler into the low-melting-point paraffin wax at the temperature of 55-70℃, stirring to uniformly mix components, and then dispersing uniformly by adopting ultrasonic waves to obtain composite conductive material; (2) adding the emulsifier into the deionized water to be dissolved into a transparent state to obtain an emulsion; (3) pouring the emulsion into the composite conductive material at the temperature of 55-70℃ while stirring to ensure that the emulsion is completely uniform to obtain nano emulsion with the average particle size of 100-300 nm; and (4) coating the nano emulsion into a coating with the thickness of 300-800 nm, and curing at 70-90℃ to obtain nano PPTC coating material.
