NOVELTY - Macro preparation of formaldehyde decomposition catalysts, involves pouring a metal precursor into a solvent, dissolving ultrasonically, adding a complex, and stirring to obtain a clear and transparent complex solution, paving a catalyst carrier material, injecting the complex solution into an atomizer, starting the atomizer to deposit the solution on the surface of the catalyst carrier material, turning the catalyst carrier material every 0.5-1.5 hours and paving uniformly until the solution is consumed completely, collecting the catalyst precursor, vacuum drying overnight, calcining the precursor in a ceramic boat placed in a tubular furnace, and cooling to room temperature. USE - Macro preparation of formaldehyde decomposition catalysts ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical large-scale preparation of catalyst using easy-to-obtain raw materials. The obtained catalyst has a room-temperature formaldehyde removal rate as high as 99%, at complete conversion space velocity of 20000 mL.g-1.hour-1 of formaldehyde gas, and has excellent stability.
