NOVELTY - The method involves measuring a graphene-based complex refractive index by a long period fiber grating spectrum. Long period fiber grating surface is obtained. Time of the cladding modes are determined by surface evanescent and graphene interaction. A cladding mode effective refractive index is calculated. Contrast values are calculated by a graphene complex refractive index and a resonant relation table of a wavelength offset. A graphene complex refractive index is measured. A graphene material is covered on a cladding surface of a long period fiber. USE - Long period fiber grating spectrum based graphene-based complex refractive index measuring method. ADVANTAGE - The method enables performing complex refractive index measuring process in a simple manner.
