NOVELTY - The photocathode has a composite quartz window and a cesium telluride photocathode portion. The surface of the quartz window is covered with a graphene layer. A layer of silicon dioxide film is made on the surface of the graphene layer by atomic layer deposition. The cesium telluride solar-blind UV photocathode portion is fabricated on the silicon dioxide film. USE - Cesium telluride solar-blind UV photocathode. ADVANTAGE - The composite quartz window has high transmission rate, low resistivity, and high quantum efficiency, and improves the success rate of the Cs2Te solar blind UV cathode manufacturing. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a composite quartz window cesium telluride solar-blind UV photocathode.
