NOVELTY - Preparation of powdery nanocomposite thermoelectric material involves mixing graphene oxide and deionized water, adding sodium tartrate, tellurium dioxide, potassium hydroxide and bismuth(III) nitrate pentahydrate successively, adding potassium borohydride, heating the solution in reactor, cooling the reactor, washing the product with deionized water until pH of supernatant reaches neutral, decanting the supernatant, washing the product twice with absolute ethanol, placing the mixture of the remaining product and absolute ethanol in a centrifuge tube, centrifuging, and vacuum-drying. USE - Preparation of powdery nanocomposite material used in thermoelectric applications. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of powdery nanocomposite thermoelectric material involves mixing graphene oxide and deionized water in a ratio of 0.1-8 mg:80 mL, ultrasonically processing homogeneously and transparently, adding sodium tartrate, tellurium dioxide, potassium hydroxide and bismuth(III) nitrate pentahydrate successively, adding potassium borohydride, stirring solution for 0.3-1 hour, heating the solution in a hydrothermal reactor at 80-200 degrees C for 10-30 hours, cooling the reactor naturally to room temperature, decanting the product, washing with deionized water until pH of supernatant reaches neutral, decanting the supernatant, washing the product twice with absolute ethanol, decanting supernatant, placing the mixture containing 1 g:5-30 mL remaining product and absolute ethanol, in a centrifuge tube, centrifuging the mixture for 3-8 minutes in a high-speed centrifuge at a rate of 3000-8000 rpm, and vacuum-drying at 60-100 degrees C for 6-8 hours. The ratio of graphene oxide, tellurium dioxide, and bismuth(III) nitrate pentahydrate is 0.1-8 mg:0.3-1 g:0.6-2 g. The solution comprises 0.25-0.35 mol/L potassium borohydride, 0.1-0.15 mol/L sodium tartrate, and 0.8-1.2 mol/L potassium hydroxide.
