NOVELTY - Lithium-ion battery cathode sheet, comprises current collector, first coating and second coating. The first coating is coated on the current collector, the second coating is coated over the first coating. The first coating comprises graphite. The second coating comprises silicon cathode material. USE - The lithium-ion battery cathode sheet is useful in lithium-ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lithium-ion battery cathode sheet: has good cycle performance, lower expansion performance, higher energy density, and improved fast charging capability when compared with lithium-ion batteries that directly mix graphite and silicon cathode materials; can improve the double charging performance and cycle performance of lithium-ion batteries, and reduce the cycle thickness expansion. The preparation method of lithium-ion battery cathode sheet: can select the system solutions with the best performance for use together since the graphite and silicon cathode materials of the present invention can be formulated separately, and equally important; involves coating the inner graphite layer, and the outer silicon cathode material layer when coating, involves less squeezing the graphite particles and silicon particles against each other during the charging and discharging process, which can improve the cycle interface; and can design inner graphite with higher compaction to improve the energy density of lithium-ion batteries, and can design outer silicon cathode to reduce the compaction design.
