NOVELTY - Heating pad comprises graphene particles dispersed in a polymer matrix material, where the graphene particles have an oxygen content of ≤ 4 at% and a nitrogen content of 3 at%, and electrically insulating covering layer bonded to the heating pad and an electrically insulating covering layer, overlaying and bonded to the heating pad. USE - Heating pad used in heatable garment and for heating a material, optionally in an application chosen from underfloor heating, a chair such as a car seat or aeroplane seat or toilet seat, a wearable garment such as sportswear, a heat sink in electronic applications, a bag, a cooking vessel or appliance, a towel warmer, further optionally wherein the heating pad coats a substrate (all claimed), where garment is a pair of trousers or shorts, or top, or a strap. ADVANTAGE - The heating pad has excellent dispersibility, improves conductivity and resistive heating, safety and reduces the weight and bulk, pad's flexibility and stretchability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: 1. a heatable garment, which comprises a garment body and a heating pad adhered to a portion of the garment body; 2. a method for making a heatable garment, which involves: a. providing a clothing material; b. depositing one or more layers of a conductive material onto a portion of the clothing material to form a heating pad, where the conductive material comprising graphene particles dispersed in a polymer matrix material, and the graphene particles have an oxygen content of 4 at% and a nitrogen content of 3 at%.; and 3. a heatable bedding, which comprises a bedding body and a heating pad adhered to at least a portion of the bedding body.
