▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The electrically conductive structure (26) includes a substrate material (30) and graphene. A cross-section taken along an axial direction of the electrically conductive structure includes: multiple layers of the substrate material; and at least one internal layer (28b) of the graphene alternatingly disposed between the layers of the substrate material. USE - Composite electrically conductive structure, e.g., tube or wire for transmission of power and/or electrical signals in aircraft (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrically conductive structure imbued with graphene enables higher power loads and more efficient power transmission, which can in turn lead to performance enhancements, e.g., increased fuel economy, for the aircraft. The graphene is in an amount of about 15% to 30% per unit volume and/or unit area, which provides a good balance of decreased power dissipation and structural or mechanical integrity in comparison to a conductive structure made solely from the substrate material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method of tailoring an amount of graphene in an electrically conductive structure. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the composite electrically conductive structure.
