▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - A controlled motion capsule (2) comprises a swallowable case, a controller monitoring data(s), a compartment enclosing a shape changing material, and nonionizing radiation emitter(s) (12) proximal to the shape changing material. The shape changing material comprises component(s) comprising a reversible copolymer. The controller determines nonionizing radiation(s) value in response to the monitored data(s) based on nonionizing radiation value, and variably energizes nonionizing radiation emitter to one or more levels of an intensity level and a duration level. The shape changing material expands and contracts to a volume dependent on levels, where the motion of the capsule through a tubular structure in a body is variably decelerated by the expansion and contraction of the shape changing material. USE - Controlled motion capsule e.g. fail-safe controlled motion capsule (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The controlled motion capsule can decelerate, and stop, without damaging epithelial walls, provide therapeutic treatment over an extended time frame, and provide stimulation that induces intestinal secretions and/or provide stimuli that increase or decrease microbial activity, and can be used at specific times. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for inflating and deflating part of a capsule as it passes through a gastrointestinal tube. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of gel-like media housed in a container of controlled motion capsule. 2Controlled motion capsule 3Gel-like media 4Container 8Membrane layer 12Nonionizing radiation emitter
