NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide modified polycarboxylate water reducer includes adding sulfuric acid, potassium peroxydisulfate and phosphorus pentoxide into reactor, heating, adding natural graphite raw material, stirring, filtering, washing, drying; mixing graphite powder, sodium nitrate, and sulfuric in reactor, adding potassium permanganate, stirring, increasing temperature, adding deionized water and hydrogen peroxide, cooling, centrifuging, washing, ultrasonically processing; adding graphene oxide to polycarboxylate water reducer, stirring, and ultrasonically processing. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide modified polycarboxylate water reducer (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is suitable for industrial production and has easy to obtain raw materials and produces less pollution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene oxide modified polycarboxylate water reducer comprises stirring while adding 20-30 pts. wt. 98% sulfuric acid, 2.5-3.5 pts. wt. potassium peroxydisulfate and 2.5-3.5 pts. wt. phosphorus pentoxide into reactor, heating to 80 degrees C, stirring while adding 2-5 pts. wt. natural graphite raw material, uniformly stirring, keeping for 6 hours at 80 degrees C, filtering, washing with water until solution until is neutral, drying for further use; mixing 1.5 pts. wt. graphite powder, 1 pt. wt. sodium nitrate, and 60 pts. wt. 98% sulfuric in ice bath, uniformly mixing in reactor, stirring and adding 6-10 pts. wt. potassium permanganate for 1 hour, stirring reaction at not greater than 5 degrees C for 1 hour, raising temperature to 35-45 degrees C to agitate and react for 20-30 hours, 400-500 pts. wt. adding deionized water, increasing reaction temperature to 70-80 degrees C for 30 minutes, adding 200-300 pts. wt. deionized water and 30 pts. wt. 30% hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes, cooling to room temperature, centrifuging, washing with deionized water until the pH is 7, ultrasonically processing at 350 W for 1 hour to obtain aqueous solution of graphene oxide, controlling mass fraction of graphene oxide to 0.5%; adding 10 pts. wt. graphene oxide to 90 pts. wt. 20% polycarboxylate water reducer, uniformly stirring, and ultrasonically processing for 1 hour.
