NOVELTY - A graphene oxide composite material is a self-repairing gel comprising a polyacrylate or acrylic acid-acrylamide copolymer, a graphene oxide, and a trivalent iron ion in water. USE - Graphene oxide composite material. Uses include but are not limited to adhesive agent, biological body device, desiccant, moisture release material, shock absorber, sound insulating material, damping material, electrolyte, and electrical device. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide composite material produces self-repairing gel by simple method using a raw material that are economical, and easily available, and which self-repairs not only surface scratches but also completely cut materials under mild conditions of air and room temperature, and restores internal and external damage by itself and can repeat to prolong the life of the material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of the graphene oxide composite material, which involves producing self-repairing gel by allowing acrylic acid monomer, acrylamide monomer and graphene oxide to coexist with a trivalent iron salt in aqueous medium, and adding a polymerization initiator to hydrogel obtained at a temperature of 0-100 degrees C.
