NOVELTY - Anti-cracking water-retaining mortar comprises 45-55 pts. wt. gelling material, 30-70 pts. wt. water-absorbing and toughening material and 110-150 pts. wt. fine aggregate. The water-absorbing and toughening material is made by mixing the anti-cracking fiber with aminosilane, drying to obtain the modified anti-cracking fiber, mixing the modified anti-cracking fiber and the water-absorbing fiber in water, and reacting to obtain the water-absorbing and toughening material. USE - The mortar is useful for masonry and plastering in building engineering. ADVANTAGE - The mortar: can improve the strength of the water-retaining mortar after hardening; has improved anti coating ability; uses the water absorbing fiber to replace the traditional water absorbing resin, because the specific surface area of the fiber is large, which increases the contact area of gelled material, the water releasing is more uniform; is more beneficial for the hardening of the sand pulp, the fibrous water absorbing material releases water, the volume shrinkage is small; has small gap formed inside after the mortar is hardened, which reduces the influence of the material strength; has a certain toughness; has the effect of toughening.
