NOVELTY - A composition comprises a monomer, a photoinitiator for photochemical polymerization of the monomer, a sensitizer, and quantum dots for photochemical polymerization of quantum dot-based color conversion filter (QD-CCF) matrix and/or for matrix curing. The monomer is carbonyl-containing compound (I). USE - Composition used for forming thin layer for quantum dot-based color conversion filter for device such as micro LED array display, micro LED display, LED backlight display, LCD display, LED device, or LED lighting device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composition provides the polymer films with high quantum dots loading and homogeneous distribution of quantum dots. The matrix of highly quantum dot-loaded films is reliably cured even in deep layers of the film. The quantum dots and the respective layer and/or device are not harmed by high intensity light used for sensitized matrix polymerization. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A composition comprises a monomer, a photoinitiator for photochemical polymerization of the monomer, a sensitizer, and quantum dots for photochemical polymerization of quantum dot-based color conversion filter (QD-CCF) matrix and/or for matrix curing. The monomer is carbonyl-containing compound of formula (I). R -R =H or 1-20C alkyl; T=aliphatic hydrocarbyl, aliphatic hydrocarbyl in which at least one methylene group is replaced with ester, ether, carbonyl or amido, alkylene oxide moiety, polyalkylene oxide moiety, heterocyclic moiety, alicylic moiety, aryl, or organic siloxane moiety (all optionally substituted); X=ester group (-C(=O)O-), thiocarbonyl (-S(=O)O-), amido (-C(=O)NH-), or carbonyl;and n=1-4. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: photochemical polymerization of quantum dot-based color conversion filter matrixes and/or for matrix curing, w which involves use of a combination of sensitizer and photoinitiator, and the composition; and thin layer, which is obtained by photochemical polymerization of quantum dot-based color conversion filter matrix and/or for matrix curing method or the composition.
