NOVELTY - A graphene-supported palladium catalyst preparing method involves stirring graphene and phosphomolybdic acid, and filtering to obtain solid. The solid is washed with water and dried to obtain phosphomolybdic acid modified-graphene, followed by mixing palladium chloride with hydrochloric acid, diluting with secondary water to obtain tetrachloropalladinic acid solution, adjusting pH, adding modified-graphene with tetrachloropalladinic acid solution to carry out ultrasonic treatment, stirring with ascorbic acid, filtering, washing with secondary water and drying to obtain finished product. USE - Method for preparing grapheme-supported palladium catalyst that is utilized in formic acid fuel cell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing the grapheme-supported palladium catalyst with high dispersibility, better catalytic activity, better stability and wide application range. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene-supported palladium catalyst preparing method involves ultrasonically stirring 5-50 mg graphene and 10-100 ml of 10 mg/ml phosphomolybdic acid for 1-5 hours, and filtering the stirred mixture to obtain solid. The solid is washed with water and dried in a vacuum drying box at 70-90 degrees C for 6-24 hours to obtain a phosphomolybdic acid modified-graphene, followed by mixing 100-300 mg palladium chloride with 100-300 ml of 1M hydrochloric acid to obtain tetrachloropalladinic acid stock solution, diluting 1-2 ml stock solution with 10-11 ml secondary water to obtain tetrachloropalladinic acid solution, adjusting pH of tetrachloropalladinic acid solution to 3-7 with alkali and adding phosphomolybdic acid modified-graphene with tetrachloropalladinic acid solution to carry out ultrasonic treatment for 5-20 minutes. The resultant solution is stirred with 1-5 ml of 13-15 mg/ml ascorbic acid for 8-24 hours, followed by filtering the resultant solution to obtain a solid product, washing the solid product with secondary water and drying in a vacuum drying oven at 70-90 degrees C for 8-24 hours to obtain the finished product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a grapheme-supported palladium catalyst.
