NOVELTY - Preparing nitrated graphene comprises e.g. (i) carrying out oxidation of graphite into graphene oxide using Hummers method, (ii) placing prepared graphene oxide in flask, adding solvent into the dispersion, adding nitrating agent and acid catalyst into dispersed mixed solution, and diluting with solvent, filtering, and (iii) peeling nitrified graphite in deionized water, performing centrifugal treatment of obtained mixed solution, collecting upper clear solution to obtain deionized aqueous solution of nitrated graphene, freeze-drying nitrated graphene deionized aqueous solution. USE - The method is useful for preparing nitrated graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is easy to operate and is suitable for large-scale production and energetic materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing nitrated graphene comprises (i) carrying out oxidation of graphite into graphene oxide using Hummers method, (ii) placing prepared graphene oxide in the flask, adding solvent into the dispersion for 2 hours in the ice bath conditions, adding nitrating agent and acid catalyst into the dispersed mixed solution, mixing and then adding reaction system to 40-75 degrees C, stirring for 6-8 hours, and diluting with solvent, filtering, washing residue with hydrochloric acid-acetone, placing filter cake in a vacuum oven at 60-70 degrees C and a vacuum degree of 10-50 Pa for predetermined period of time to obtain dried nitrated graphite, and (iii) peeling nitrified graphite in deionized water under ultrasonic liquid phase for 6-10 hours, ultrasonic power of 200-300 W, performing centrifugal treatment of obtained mixed solution, collecting upper clear solution to obtain deionized aqueous solution of nitrated graphene, freeze-drying nitrated graphene deionized aqueous solution to obtain final product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for nitrated graphene obtained by above method, where nitro mass fraction of nitrated graphene is 5-30%, and single layer rate is 95-99.9%.
