NOVELTY - Water vapor barrier composite film comprises a polychlorinated para-xylene film and a two-dimensional nano material film, and UV curing adhesive for bonding the polychlorinated para-xylene film and the two-dimensional nano material film, where the polychlorinated para-xylene film is made by thermal cracking chemical vapor deposition method, and the two-dimensional nanomaterial film is a single-layer or multi-layer graphene film. USE - The water vapor barrier composite film is used in active metal corrosion protection, flexible electronic device packaging, and smart wear applications (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The water vapor barrier composite film has fast curing speed, high strength, excellent toughness, and excellent barrier performance to water, oxygen and other gases, prevents active metals from corroding due to moisture penetration, and prevents electronic devices from causing insulation failure due to moisture entry. The method is simple to operate, and convenient to use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the water vapor barrier composite film, which involves cleaning surface of polychlorinated para-xylene film to remove surface impurities, coating UV curing adhesive on the surface of the polychlorinated para-xylene film, directly and smoothly covering graphene film on the UV curing adhesive layer, and UV curing for a period of time to obtain a polychlorinated para-xylene film/UV curing adhesive/graphene film barrier composite film.
