NOVELTY - Preparing electromagnetic shielding metal plate coated with polymethyl methacrylate/graphene composite film involves dispersing the graphene powder in the methyl methacrylate solution and making it uniformly dispersed ultrasonically to prepare a methyl methacrylate/graphene dispersion. An initiator and metal adhesion promoter are added to the methyl methacrylate/graphene dispersion. The dispersion is placed in a flask, and subjected to pre-polymerization reaction in an oil bath. The pre-polymerization solution is taken out after the dispersion has a viscosity similar to glycerol and the solution is cooled. A brush is used to coat a layer of the prepolymer solution on both sides of a 22.9 mmx 10.2 mmx 2 mm metal plate. The metal plate is placed in a vacuum oven to dry, and further placed in a blast oven for post-processing. The metal plate is taken out after processing, and after cooling for a period of time, the desired product is obtained. ADVANTAGE - The electromagnetic shielding metal plate coated with the polymethyl methacrylate/graphene composite film prepared by the method has excellent electromagnetic shielding effect and water washing resistance, and has simple, economical and eco-friendly preparation process.
