NOVELTY - The device (1) has an anode active layer (40) formed on a graphene conductive layer, and comprising graphene sheets and anode active particles. The graphene sheets and a cathode active particle are bounded and adhered onto the graphene conductive layer by a polymer binder while the graphene sheets are blended with the anode active particles. A separator (50) is located between a cathode active layer (20) and the anode active layer, where each graphene sheet has thickness of 1-50 nm and planar lateral dimension of 1 mm-50 micrometer. USE - Graphene-containing electrochemical device. ADVANTAGE - The device contains electrolyte to form a simple capacitor device in an efficient manner. The device adds graphene, so that conductivity of the cathode/anode active particles and compatibility between cathode/anode active material and the metal foil substrate can be increased, and junction resistance can be reduced due to a current collector having a graphene layer. The device forms an integrated conductive network, so that performance of the device can be greatly improved. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The separator is made of material selected from a group consisting of nonwoven fabric and specific paper. The anode active particles are made of material selected from a group consisting of graphite, mesocarbon microbead (MCMB), silicon, tin oxide, and active carbon.
