NOVELTY - A silicon-carbon composite anode material comprises a core and a shell covering the core. The core is porous silicon. The shell is carbon nanotube/graphene/amorphous carbon composite. USE - Silicon-carbon composite anode material for use in lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The silicon-carbon composite anode material has core-shell structure, and improves efficiency of charge and discharge. The lithium-ion battery using the silicon-carbon composite anode material has high specific capacity, high efficiency, and excellent cycle performance. The contact between porous silicon in the core and the electrolyte is prevented, and the occurrence of side reactions is reduced.
