NOVELTY - Fine denier hollow colored polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) fiber comprises PTT polyester, flame retardant, color master batch, where the flame retardant comprises functionalized graphene nano hybrid material A, which is prepared by preparing graphite oxide solids in flake graphite powder, preparing graphene oxide dimethylformamide (DMF) suspension under ultrasonic; preparing carboxy activated graphene oxide chloride(GOCl); preparing compound M of dimethyl sulfoxidesolution, adding GOCl to prepare mixed solution, adding acid-binding agent, heating and stirring, vacuum drying and filtering. USE - Used as fine denier hollow colored PTT fibers. ADVANTAGE - The fibers are flame retardant, where flame retardant achieves the level of FV-0. The modified sample has 3-25% tensile strength, and 5-30% impact strength, has modified mechanical properties and improves the flame retardancy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Fine denier hollow colored polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) fiber comprises 100 pts. wt. PTT polyester, 0.5-10 pts. wt. flame retardant, 0.05-0.2 pts. wt. color master batch, where the flame retardant comprises functionalized graphene nano hybrid material A, which is prepared by (i) preparing graphite oxide solids in flake graphite powder, (ii) preparing graphene oxide dimethylformamide (DMF) suspension under ultrasonic, ratio of graphite oxide and DMF solvent is 7.5-15 mg/ml; (iii) preparing carboxy activated graphene oxide chloride(GOCl); (iv) preparing compound M of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solution, the ratio of compound M with DMSO (50:1)-(5:1) mg/ml; (v) adding the GOCl step (iv) into the step (iii) to prepare the mixed solution, adding acid-binding agent, heating, and stirring, where the volume ratio of graphene oxide and compound M is (20:1)-(1:20); (vi) vacuum drying and filtering, washing and drying to obtain the functionalized graphene nano hybrid material or the flame retardant comprises functionalized graphene nano hybrid material B, (vii) mixing functional graphene nano hybrid material A in the solvent, adding initiator to initiate polymerization, separating and purifying to obtain the functionalized graphene nano hybrid material B, the particle diameter is 20-200 nm; where the compound is 2-(-9)ethyl methacrylate, 2-(-9)ethyl acrylate, 2-(-9)ethyl, and methacrylic acid with structure as mentioned. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing hollow colored PTT fiber, comprising (a) taking mentioned mixed material, and (b) spinning by a special-shaped spinneret method, where the spinneret comprises a triangular shaped hollow spinneret, a pentagonal single-hole shaped hollow spinneret, a multi-angle single hole shaped hollow spinneret, and a triangular three hole hollow spinneret plate.
