NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide-based oxazole type mixed matrix membrane, comprises (1) preparing 2-(4-aminophenyl)-5-aminobenzoxazole, (2) preparing oxazole type polyimide, (3) preparing functionalized graphene, (4) mixing oxazole-type polyimide, functionalized graphene and dimethylacetamide evenly to obtain a casting solution, applying the casting solution on the template, and drying to obtain a prefabricated film, treating the prefabricated membrane at high temperature to obtain the desired mixed matrix membrane. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide-based oxazole type mixed matrix membrane, which is useful in the separation of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. ADVANTAGE - The membrane has high selectivity of carbon dioxide/methane. The method is simple, environmentally friendly, and excellent carbon dioxide separation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene oxide-based oxazole type mixed matrix membrane, obtained by the method as mentioned above.
