NOVELTY - Graphene-hexamercaptobenzene copper electrode material comprises a matrix graphene, and hexamercaptobenzene copper nanoparticles are attached to the matrix graphene sheet layer. The mass ratio of the matrix graphene to the hexamercaptophenic copper particles is 3:1-30. USE - Graphene-hexamercapto benzene copper electrode material for use as an electrode in a lithium ion battery (Claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-hexamercapto benzene-copper electrode material has excellent lithium storage performance and multiplying power performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene-hexamercaptophen copper electrode material, which involves: (A) preparing graphene dispersion; (B) dissolving the copper salt in the graphene dispersion, adding hexamercaptobenzene powder under the protection of inert gas, and stirring quickly until the black precipitate precipitates out of the solution and the solution becomes clear; and (C) precipitating and filtering the solution, soaking and washing the black precipitate with ethanol various times, and drying the obtained black precipitate in a vacuum to obtain the graphene-hexamercaptophenic copper electrode material.
