NOVELTY - Preparing graphene, comprises (i) taking 0.2-1 g/l aqueous solution of graphene oxide, maintaining at 60-100 degrees C for at least 30 minutes, preferably 30-300 minutes, cooling to not greater than 20 degrees C, preferably 10-15 degrees C; (ii) adjusting pH of aqueous solution graphene oxide using a pH adjusting agent to 6-12; and (iii) adjusting pH of step (ii) product using pH reducing agent. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method reduces the utilization amount of reduction agent, shortens the preparation time, and produces product with high purity.
