▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A flow field plate (12) comprises a metal plate having one surface (16) defining channels (20) for directing a flow of a gaseous composition; and a graphene-containing layer (50) over at least a portion of the metal plate and having a carbon layer surface with a contact angle less than 30 degrees . USE - A flow field plate for fuel cell applications. ADVANTAGE - The fuel cell has a contact resistance of less than 20 mohm-cm2. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a fuel cell sequentially comprising a flow field plate, a catalyst layer, an ion conductor layer, a catalyst layer, and another flow field plate; and (2) a method of making a flow field plate comprising depositing a graphene-containing layer on the metallic plate.
