NOVELTY - The preparation method of composite material involves weighing foamed nickel and then washing using acetone, ethanol and deionized water, drying the washed nickel and then heating, introducing argon gas and hydrogen gas into the heated nickel, heating at 900-1000 degrees C and then annealing, introducing methane gas and hydrogen gas into the annealed nickel, adding graphene to the mixture and then heating, cooling to room temperature, adding L-arginine solution and copper sulfate solution to the mixture, and reacting. USE - The method is useful for preparation of composite material, which is useful in gas sensing applications. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of composite material with high specific surface area.
