NOVELTY - Preparing flame retardant non-woven fabric comprises e.g. (i) taking 5-10 pts. wt. graphene, 1-2 pts. wt. isocyanate propyl triethoxy silane, 0.1-0.2 pts. wt. n-butyltin dilaurate and 900-1800 pts. wt. tetrahydrofuran, pouring according to sequence into wet grinding device, using grinding medium as zirconium oxide microsphere, pre-mixing, pouring into wet grinding device, grinding at 2000 revolution/minute at below 3degrees Celsius for 2 hours, discharging, adding 12-24 pts. wt. hydrochloric acid and 100-200 pts. wt. de-ionized water, refluxing and stirring for 12 hours under the protection of nitrogen at 60degrees Celsius to obtain the graphene solution, taking 50 pts. wt. phosphorus-containing silicone 9,10-Dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide (DOPO)-(vinyltrimethoxysilane) VTS, dissolving in 450 pts. wt. tetrahydrofuran, adding into graphene solution, adding 10 pts. wt. aqueous ammonia and stirring for 5 hours to obtain the flame retardant solution containing graphene. USE - The method is useful for preparing flame retardant non-woven fabric. ADVANTAGE - The method: can spray compounded fuel-resistant slurry to the non-woven fabric covered on the metal substrate by a strong electric field force to form filaments; controls the moving speed of the non-woven fabric in the horizontal direction; and covers the non-woven fabric substrate with a comprehensive and uniform flame retardant fiber thus after cleaning and drying and obtains a flame retardant non-woven fabric sample with good flame retardant index.
