NOVELTY - Forming a lubrication material, comprises: providing a lubricant base fluid; adding crumpled graphene balls as additives in the lubricant base fluid; and sonicating the lubricant base fluid with the additives for a sonicating time period, so that the crumpled graphene balls are self-dispersed in the lubricant base fluid to improve friction and wear properties of the lubricant base fluid. USE - The method is useful for forming a lubrication material i.e. useful for providing lubrication (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method utilizes self-dispersed crumpled graphene balls in oil that improves friction and wear properties of lubricant oil and grease (claimed), retains round shape under high pressure and static compression and survives harsh tribological conditions while remaining dispersible during lubrication and thus provides lubrication material with increased stiffness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a lubrication material, comprising a lubricant base fluid, and crumpled graphene balls being added as additives in the lubricant base fluid, where the lubrication material is sonicated for a sonicating time period, so that the crumpled graphene balls are self-dispersed in the lubricant base fluid.
