NOVELTY - The method for surface modification of graphene, involves adding graphene oxide to concentrated nitric acid solution, repeatedly washing filter cake with deionized water, drying to obtain roughened graphene, ball milling, adding silver acetate, mixing with grained graphene to obtain graphene/silver acetate, heating, cooling to obtain oxidized graphene loaded with silver particles and ultrasonically processing oxidized graphene loaded with silver particles in deionized water, adding hydrazine hydrate, carrying out reflux reaction to obtain final product. USE - Method for surface modification of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables surface modification of graphene by simple process without generating heavy metal pollution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for surface modification of graphene, involves uniformly attaching silver particles on the surface of graphene. The silver particles are spherical or ellipsoidal, and provided with particle size of 30-110 nm. The specific process is carried out by (S1) adding graphene oxide to concentrated nitric acid solution, ultrasonically dispersing for 1-3 hours, centrifuging and filtering, repeatedly washing the filter cake with deionized water to neutral, drying for 20-28 hours to obtain roughened graphene after roughening treatment, (S2) placing the roughened graphene in ball mill, ball milling for 3-13 hours, adding silver acetate, mixing with grained graphene for 1-3 hours to obtain mixture of graphene/silver acetate, (S3) heating the mixture of oxidized graphene/silver acetate in muffle furnace at 300 degrees C, maintaining the reaction under nitrogen atmosphere, insulating for 1.5-3.5 hours, cooling to room temperature to obtain oxidized graphene loaded with silver particles and (S4) ultrasonically processing the oxidized graphene loaded with silver particles in deionized water for 15-45 minutes, adding hydrazine hydrate, carrying out reflux reaction for 20-28 hours, re-cleaning and drying to obtain final product.
