NOVELTY - Preparing copper-plated graphene aluminum-based composite material comprises (i) carrying out solution method copper plating treatment on graphene powder surface, preparing to obtain the copper-plated graphene powder, (ii) using electrostatic self-assembly method to mixing copper-plated graphene powder and aluminum powder prepared, preparing to obtain copper-plated graphene aluminum composite powder, and (iii) using discharge plasma sintering process to sintering prepared copper-plated graphene aluminum composite powder, preparing to obtain the copper-plated graphene aluminum-based composite material. USE - The method is useful for preparing copper-plated graphene aluminum-based composite material. ADVANTAGE - The material: improves interface combination of graphene and aluminum substrate, and hardness and wear-resisting property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for copper-plated graphene aluminum-based composite material.
