NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene wire involves immersing a copper wire as substrate in weak acid solution at 40-100 degrees C for 5-60 minutes, placing the resultant copper wire into a chemical vapor deposition furnace, heating at 300-600 degrees C, introducing mixed gas of hydrogen-methane, hydrogen-ethylene or hydrogen-acetylene into the furnace, opening a plasma generator for 5-30 minutes, introducing argon gas, maintaining for 5-50 hours and naturally cooling to room temperature. USE - Preparation of graphene wire used for power transmission line (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently provides graphene.
