NOVELTY - Graphene-hard carbon composite material comprises crushing hard carbon particles and feeding into chemical vapor deposition tube furnace, raising temperature to 880-1200degrees Celsius under vacuum for 10 minutes, introducing carbon source gas into the reaction chamber, controlling flow rate of the carbon source by controlling the vacuum degree in the reaction chamber to 5-15 kPa, preserving for 0.5-10 hours and cooling to room temperature to obtain final product, where the average particle size of the hard carbon particles is 1-20 microm, the average specific surface area of the hard carbon particles is 1-100 m2/g and the vacuum degree of the vacuum condition is less than 4 kPa. USE - The graphene-hard carbon composite material is useful for preparing sodium ion battery cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-hard carbon composite material: has high capacity, fast charging feature, fast discharge feature; improves the transmission rate of sodium ions, coulomb efficiency, cycle performance of the sodium ion cathode; reduces curvature of sodium ion transport. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation of sodium ion battery cathode material.
