NOVELTY - Preparing monolayer 2H phase tungsten disulfide/graphene composite comprises e.g. mixing ammonium thiotungstate and lithium salt compound, grinding, cooling to room temperature, then placing in deionized water, then subjecting into ultrasonic hydrolysis, placing in centrifuge and centrifuging, then adding oxidized and dispersing ultrasonically, then adding hydrazine hydrate, and washing with water and ethanol to remove soluble impurities, then precipitating, dispersing in small molecule solvent to obtain final product. USE - The method is useful for preparing monolayer 2H phase tungsten disulfide/graphene composite (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has simple preparation processes, mild reaction conditions, cheaply available raw material, and is environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing monolayer 2H phase tungsten disulfide/graphene composite comprises (i) mixing ammonium thiotungstate and lithium salt compound in a molar ratio of 1:2, grinding at 200-600 degrees C for 1-10 hours under inert gas atmosphere, cooling to room temperature to obtain lithium-inserted 2H phase tungsten sulfide block, (ii) placing lithium-inserted 2H phase tungsten sulfide block obtained in step (ii) in deionized water, then subjecting into ultrasonic hydrolysis for 5-30 minutes, placing obtained suspension in a centrifuge and centrifuging to remove un-stripped precipitate to obtain a single-layer 2H phase tungsten(IV) sulfide nano-sheet suspension, (iii) adding oxidized graphene into single-layer 2H phase tungsten(IV) sulfide nano-sheet suspension obtained in step (ii) and dispersing ultrasonically for 5-10 minutes, then adding hydrazine hydrate for 0.5-2 hours to obtain single layer tungsten(IV) sulfide/graphene suspension, and (iv) washing single layer tungsten(IV) sulfide/graphene suspension with water and ethanol to remove soluble impurities in the centrifuge, then precipitating, dispersing in small molecule solvent to obtain final product, where thickness of monolayer 2H phase tungsten(IV) sulfide nano-sheet is less than 1 nm.
