NOVELTY - Floating semiconductor photocatalytic material comprises melamine resin as carrier, graphene oxide supported on melamine resin, and graphene bonded to graphene photocatalyst BiOBr. USE - Floating semiconductor photocatalytic material used for photocatalytic degradation of colored contaminant (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The floating semiconductor photocatalytic material is easy to obtain raw material, cost-effective, simple, and feasible, has high activity and good stability, solves the problem of powder catalyst is difficult to recycle, and has high concentration pollutant shielding effect of incident light. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing floating semiconductor photocatalytic material, which involves: (A) dispersing graphene oxide into water, immersing melamine resin, drying at 85-95 degrees C for 7-10 hours to obtain melamine resin material loaded with graphene oxide; (B) dissolving bismuth nitrate pentahydrate in mixed solution of ethylene glycol and isopropanol, adding ionic liquid of 1-methyl-cetylimidazolium bromide salt; and (C) stirring to dissolving, transferring into hydrothermal kettle, placing melamine resin material of the supported graphene oxide in the hydrothermal kettle, sealing, and maintaining temperature at 160 degrees C plus minus 2 degrees C for 6-10 hours to obtain final product.
