NOVELTY - Composition comprises severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) specific antigen-tagged with streptavidin. USE - The composition is useful in kit for detecting and diagnosing SARS-CoV-2 infection (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composition detects SARS-CoV-2 with excellent sensitivity and specificity and has rapid diagnostic ability against SARS-CoV-2. The method diagnoses rapidly and accurately before the onset of SARS-CoV-2 in the early stage. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) kit comprising the above-mentioned composition; and (2) method for providing information on a diagnosis of SARS-CoV 2 infection involves preparing streptavidin binding peptide (SBP)-tagged recombinant protein to the SARS-CoV 2-specific antigen and detecting the SARS-CoV 2 antibody that reacts with the SARS-CoV 2-specific antigen of the recombinant protein in the biological sample isolated from the individual.
