NOVELTY - Pole piece comprises a current collector and an electrode coating that is coated on one or both sides of the current collector, where the electrode coating includes an active material coating on the current collector and a polymer coating on the active material layer. The polymer coating includes a first polymer and a second polymer. USE - Pole piece for lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The pole piece has high adhesiveness and better ability to absorb electrolyte, enhances the hardness of the battery and improves the long-term performance of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing pole piece, which involves: (A) coating active material slurry on one or both sides of the current collector, drying to form an active material coating, and obtaining a semi-finished product; and (B) coating polymer slurry on the active material coating of the semi-finished product, and drying to form a polymer coating to obtain the pole piece.
