▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Manufacturing a first sheet of a first two-dimensional (2D), material e.g. graphene, comprises: providing a container (10) containing a substrate, comprising a set of layers including a solid layer (13), and a volume above the substrate; supplying precursor species (14) to the volume, where the precursor species comprise atoms, for example carbon atoms, of the first 2D material; allowing the precursor species to settle on a surface (22) of the substrate; applying a first force on the precursor species, parallel to the surface of the substrate, to coalesce, at least in part, the precursor species to form the first sheet (26) of the first 2D material; and withdrawing, at least in part, the substrate after allowing the precursor species to settle on the surface of the substrate. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing first sheet of a first two-dimensional material e.g. graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method: provides 2D material, it should be understood that size, e.g. length and/or width, of first sheet is not limited in principle, bounded only by size of container; and utilizes second liquid layer affords enhanced planar mobility of precursor species and/or fragments of first sheet of first 2D material, improves coalescing and formation of first sheet of first 2D material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for apparatus. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The figure shows cross-sectional view of the apparatus.
