NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-containing lubricating oil comprises (A) centrifuging raw material grapheme, collecting upper layer liquid, and subjecting for low temperature drying to obtain graphene powder, (B) drying graphene powder under vacuum to obtain crude product, (C) mixing crude product with additive to obtain mixture W, dissolving in solvent, heating, stirring, filtering when hot, drying filtrate under vacuum to obtain a finished product Q, (D) centrifuging finished product Q to obtain lubricating oil, where graphene-containing lubricating oil comprises 1-3 wt.% finished product Q, 1-5 wt.% additive, and base oil (balance), the mass ratio of the crude product to the additive is 1:0.1-100:0.1, the additive is diiodooctane or chloronaphthalene, the amount of product Q is 50-85 wt.% of mixture W. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-containing lubricating oil. ADVANTAGE - The lubricating oil has good stability.
