NOVELTY - Preparation of graphite/graphene-reinforced copper composite involves preparing a copper powder having purity of 99% or more as a sample of a green compact having a predetermined volume, charging the copper sample into a chemical vacuum-deposition system, purging hydrogen gas atmosphere, adjusting pressure to 1x 10-3 torr, introducing hydrogen gas at flow rate of 5-15 sccm, heating the furnace to 400-1000 degrees C, annealing for 20-40 minutes, adjusting pressure, introducing a source gas at flow rate of 4-10 sccm, and growing three-dimensional graphite/graphene network on copper powder. USE - Preparation of graphite/graphene-reinforced copper composite. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphite/graphene-reinforced copper composite having excellent electroconductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, hardness, yield strength and tensile strength.
