NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-modified polypropylene plastic tube comprises (i) mixing polyvinylpyrrolidone, graphene oxide aqueous dispersion and reducing agent, grafting the polyvinylpyrrolidone on the surface of the graphene oxide, filtering, washing and drying to obtain surface-modified hydrophilic graphene; (ii) melt-blending the polypropylene and ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer to obtain hydrophilic modified polypropylene; (iii) mixing the graft-modified graphene obtained in the step (i) with the hydrophilic modified polypropylene obtained in the step (ii), wet ball milling in a ball mill, then adding antioxidants and dispersing agent and uniformly mixing, then quick freezing, sublimation drying, and pulverizing to obtain modified graphene powder/polypropylene blended master batch; and (iv) mixing the blended masterbatch prepared in the step (iii) with the polypropylene resin, stirring uniformly, and extruding. USE - The tube is useful for chemical sewage discharge (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has good dispersibility of graphene in the polypropylene matrix without agglomeration. The tube has excellent chemical corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties and long service life.
