▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - An electrode composite comprises 0.1-20 wt.% graphene, 0.1-20 wt.% carbon black, 2-20 wt.% binder and the rest as lithium transition metal oxide having a spinel or lithium transition metal compound having an olivine structure, and a thickness of greater than or equal to 40 mu m. USE - Electrode composite used in e.g. lithium ion cell, battery module, battery pack and devices (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, computers, smartphones, and stationary energy storage for renewable sources. ADVANTAGE - The composite has high thickness and provides batteries with improved electrochemical performances such as high specific capacity and specific energy, and improved cycle characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) cathode comprising current collector and composite electrode arranged on the collector; (2) lithium ion cell comprising cathode; (3) battery module comprising the lithium ion cell; (4) battery pack comprising a battery module; (5) device comprising the lithium ion cell, battery module or the battery pack; and (6) preparation of cathode.
