NOVELTY - Preparation of silver (Ag)/silver chloride (AgCl)/poly(dimethyldiallylammonium chloride) (PDDA)/graphene (GE) composite material includes mixing silver nitrate aqueous solution and graphene oxide (GO) suspension at room temperature by magnetic stirring, obtaining Ag+/GO suspension, adding PDDA to Ag+/GO suspension, uniformly mixing by magnetically stirring, obtaining Ag/AgCl/PDDA/GO suspension, adding into high pressure kettle, heat preserving at high temperature, naturally cooling, centrifugal washing, and drying at room temperature. USE - Preparation of Ag/AgCl/PDDA/GE composite material used for completely inhibiting the growth of Escherichia coli and killing colon Bacillus and all bacteria (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The Ag/AgCl/PDDA/GE composite material has excellent antibacterial and sterilizing performance. It completely inhibits the growth of E. coli at 10 ppm concentration, kills colon Bacillus for 2 hours at a concentration of 1 ppm, and kills all bacteria for 1 hour at a concentration of 5 ppm. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of Ag/AgCl/PDDA/GE composite material comprises uniformly dispersing GO into 1 mg/ml suspension, preparing silver nitrate into 0.03 mol/L silver nitrate aqueous solution, mixing silver nitrate aqueous solution and GO suspension at 1:5 volume ratio at room temperature by magnetic stirring for 30 minutes, obtaining Ag+/GO suspension, adding 500-2000 mg PDDA to 25 ml Ag+/GO suspension, uniformly mixing by magnetically stirring, obtaining Ag/AgCl/PDDA/GO suspension, adding into high pressure kettle at 80% filling amount, heat preserving at high temperature of 100-180 degrees C for 6-14 hours, naturally cooling, centrifugal washing for 3 times, and drying at room temperature to obtain Ag/AgCl/PDDA/GE composite material.
