NOVELTY - A photoactive-adsorbent bead comprises a mixture of cadmium sulfide, cellulose acetate-graphene, and silver nanoparticles. USE - Photoactive-adsorbent bead used for removing and photoelectrochemically detecting heavy metal e.g. copper ion from real water samples chosen from river, lake, dam, drinking water and tap water (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The photoactive-adsorbent bead effectively removes and photoelectrochemically detects heavy metal and has low detection limit for detecting copper ions.
