NOVELTY - Preparation of the modified graphene oxide/polyurethane heat-resistant composite material involves performing non-covalent bond modification or covalent bond modification of graphene oxide to obtain stable modified graphene oxide dispersion, adding the modified graphene oxide dispersion to polyurethane solution, ultrasonically mixing or shaking for 2-5 hours to form mixed solution, coating the mixed liquid to PTFE plate and drying at 70-90 degrees C for 24-48 hours. USE - Preparation of modified graphene oxide/polyurethane composite material for construction. ADVANTAGE - The method does not change the molecular structure, and properties of the polyurethane, and is fast, and easy. The modified graphene oxide has increased possibility of physically or chemically bonding the oxygen-containing active group on the surface to the polyurethane which improves the compatibility of the modified graphene oxide with the polyurethane. The thermal decomposition temperature of the polyurethane is improved to certain extent under the extremely small loading of the modified graphene oxide to improve the heat resistance of the polyurethane.
