NOVELTY - Durable multifunctional biomimetic superhydrophobic coating comprises epoxy modified organic silicon resin, modified silica nanoparticles, modified graphene oxide, modified mica, and curing agent. The modified silica nanoparticles are obtained by dispersing the silica nanoparticles in toluene, then adding trichlorooctadecylsilane, heating and stirring to obtain a suspension. The suspension is dried to obtain modified silica nanoparticles. The modified graphene oxide is obtained by dispersing the graphene oxide in absolute ethanol, adding trichlorooctadecylsilane, heating and stirring to obtain a suspension. The suspension is dried to obtain modified graphene oxide. The modified mica is obtained by dispersing mica powder in toluene, adding trichlorooctadecylsilane, heating and stirring to obtain a suspension. The suspension is dried to obtain modified mica. The filler is composed of modified silica nanoparticles, modified graphene oxide and modified mica. USE - Durable multifunctional biomimetic superhydrophobic coating ADVANTAGE - The coating achieves multifunctional properties by adjusting the ratio between surface modification filler and resin, and also has mechanical durability, high and low temperature resistance, pH and ultraviolet (UV) stability, self-cleaning and repairability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a durable multifunctional biomimetic superhydrophobic coating, which involves dissolving the epoxy-modified silicone resin in an organic solvent, adding modified silica nanoparticles, modified graphene oxide and modified mica, ultrasonically dispersing uniformly, adding a curing agent, and stirring uniformly to obtain suspension, pouring the suspension into a spray gun, spraying on the substrate by the compressed air spraying method, drying, curing, and obtaining a durable multifunctional bionic superhydrophobic coating on the substrate, where base material is magnesium alloy sheet, copper foam or glass sheet.
