NOVELTY - Preparation of functionalized graphene quantum dots comprises mixing citric acid and penicillamine, and dissolving in water to form mixed acid solution; transferring mixed acid solution to high pressure reactor, heating reaction and freeze-drying to obtain functionalized graphene quantum dot; dissolving functionalized graphene quantum dots in water to obtain aqueous solution of graphene quantum dots; and mixing acid-base buffer solution with iron ion-containing solution, adding aqueous solution of graphene quantum dots, and measuring fluorescence intensity on fluorescence spectrophotometer. USE - Method for preparing functionalized graphene quantum dots for iron ion ultra-sensitive fluorescence response (claimed).
