NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene microchip by pulsed high pressure water jet mill involves taking 90-98 pts. wt. graphite powder, heating at 180-220 degrees C for 20-40 minutes, mixing graphite powder with 0.5-2.0 pts. wt. ethanol, 0.4-1.5 pts. wt. potassium tripolyphosphate and 500-1000 pts. wt. water and stirring at speed of 360-480 revolutions/minute for 3 minutes to obtain aqueous graphite powder solution. USE - Method for preparing graphene microchip by pulsed high pressure water jet mill used for plastic enhancement, anti-corrosion paint, lubrication and sewage treatment field (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product is low-cost and environment-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene microchip by pulsed high pressure water jet mill comprises: (A) taking 90-98 pts. wt. graphite powder, heating at 180-220 degrees C for 20-40 minutes, mixing graphite powder with 0.5-2.0 pts. wt. ethanol, 0.4-1.5 pts. wt. potassium tripolyphosphate and 500-1000 pts. wt. water and stirring at speed of 360-480 revolutions/minute for 3 minutes to obtain aqueous graphite powder solution; (B) sending graphite powder aqueous solution to a closed reactor with pressure of 10-25 MPa for 4-10 hours and holding by weak Van der Waals forces to obtain pre-treated graphite powder aqueous solution; and (C) sending into the pulsed high-pressure water jet mill, operating pulse high-pressure water jet through rotary joint, firing from the nozzle peeling off graphite powder by turbulence and cavitation, filtering and drying to obtain graded sheet of graphene having 100-300 layers.
