NOVELTY - A graphene-based lithium iron phosphate/carbon composite material preparing method involves preparing a ferric salt solution in which graphene oxide is dispersed at a ratio of 0.1-0.3: 1. Iron phosphate/graphene oxide precursor is prepared by dispersing the ferric salt solution and phosphate solution to obtain reaction mixed solution at a ratio of iron:phosphate of 1:1-1.2 followed by adjusting the reaction pH to 2-4, controlling the temperature to 600-700 degrees C to obtain emulsion. The emulsion is filtered, washed, dried to obtain the composite material. USE - Method for preparing graphene-based lithium iron phosphate/carbon composite material that is utilized in a power battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing the composite material with high specific capacity, better cyclic performance and multiplying performance.
