NOVELTY - Preparation of manganese carbonate/manganese tetrachloride/graphene ternary composite material includes adding graphite into sulfuric acid solution, stirring, adding potassium permanganate, stirring, heating, stirring, adding deionized water and hydrogen peroxide, and cooling to obtain manganese/oxidized graphite solution; sonicating, dropping sodium carbonate solution while stirring, and adjusting pH; and water bath heating while stirring, filtering, washing precipitate, and freeze-drying. USE - Method for preparation of manganese carbonate/manganese tetrachloride/graphene ternary composite material used as lithium ion battery cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has high raw materials utilization rate and short preparation time. The product enhances cycle performance and specific capacity of battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of manganese carbonate/manganese tetrachloride/graphene ternary composite material comprises: (A) adding 1-10 g graphite into 23-230 mL sulfuric acid solution, stirring at 0-5 degrees C for 20-60 minutes, adding 4-40 g potassium permanganate, stirring at 0-5 degrees C for 2-3 hours, heating to 30-45 degrees C, stirring for 2-3 hours, heating to 85-98 degrees C, stirring for 10-30 minutes, adding 150-500 mL deionized water and 10-100 mL hydrogen peroxide, and cooling to obtain manganese/oxidized graphite solution; (B) sonicating for 2-3 hours to obtain manganese/graphene solution, dropping sodium carbonate solution while stirring, and adjusting pH to 9-11 to obtain manganese carbonate/manganese tetrachloride/graphene solution; and (C) water bath heating at 90-98 degrees C while stirring for 2-3 hours, filtering, collecting precipitate, washing with deionized water, and freeze-drying.
