NOVELTY - Producing nanocomposite comprises preparing a precursor comprising a reduced graphene oxide, and a hydroxide of at least one metals of nickel, cobalt and manganese; and sulfiding the precursor for preparing the nanocomposite in situ, where the nanocomposite includes reduced graphene oxide and nickel distributed on both surfaces of the reduced graphene oxide, sulfide of at least one metals of cobalt and manganese. USE - The nanocomposite is useful for anode of lithium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanocomposite has reversible capacity, capacity retention rate, cycle stability and no deformation during cycle testing, and excellent electrochemical performance due to high discharge capacity, high theoretical capacity, excellent electrical conductivity and thermal stability; and reduces stress of lithium ion battery caused by repeated charging/discharging and having excellent electrochemical reliability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for nanocomposite with sandwich structure comprising reduced graphene oxide and sulfide of metals of nickel, cobalt or manganese distributed on both surfaces of the reduced graphene oxide.
