▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The modulator has a first annular waveguide (2-1) connected between a first straight waveguide (1-1) and a second straight waveguide (1-2). A second annular waveguide (2-2) is connected between the second straight waveguide and a third straight waveguide (1-3). A coplanar waveguide electrode (5) is formed with a first absorption area (4-2). The second annular waveguide is formed between a first coupling region (3-3) and a second coupling region (3-4). Upper and lower sides of a ridge region are formed on the first absorption area and a second absorption area (4-1). USE - Single layer graphene-based single-structured double-logic gate light modulator. ADVANTAGE - The modulator determines attenuation degree of an optical signal so as to control output light energy, thus utilizing different logic functions. The modulator is easy to use, and has high integration degree, and reduces transmission loss and increases response speed, driving voltage and wide modulation bandwidth, and realizes manufacturing process in an effective manner.
